LaVern Paul Ulrick was born Aug. 6, 1917 to Ed and Minnie Peterson Ulrick. He died Aug. 30, 2012 and is buried in South Marion Cemetery, Stratford, IA.
Pvt. Ulrick served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 34th Red Bull Division and was in active combat in the African and European campaigns.
