Danbury, Iowa—Frank Treiber has been promoted from fireman first class to machinist mate second class at the naval air station at Corpus Christi, Texas. He is the son of Tony Treiber of Danbury.

Frank Treiber was born Mar. 24, 1915 to Anton “Tony” and Nellie Rosaner Treiber. He died July 9, 1986 and is buried in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, VA.
Frank served with the U.S. Navy in World War II and Korea.
