Corporal John Francis Tracy, a former Sioux Cityan, stationed at Company F, 30th infantry, San Francisco, is spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Jones in Los Angeles. Corporal Tracy will visit his sister, Mrs. Gerald Ferguson of Sioux City in June.

John Francis Tracy was born Feb. 28, 1920 to John F. and Marie Jones Tracy. He died Aug. 11, 1943 and is buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA.
John served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
