Pfc. Paul O. Timmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Timmons, Alameda, Cal., formerly of Sioux City, is returning home on a 21-day furlough from the Fifth army front in Italy. Pfc. Timmons is a member of Cannon company 133d infantry regiment, 34th Red Bull division. He holds the Purple Heart and cluster for wounds sustained in action in addition to the combat infantryman badge and European theater ribbon with three battle stars. He was a pupil at Central High School before entering service in February, 1941, and went overseas in February, 1942.
