Ned W. Tillson AKA Edward Wright Tillson was born Mar. 8, 1921 to Harold L. and Marie Diana Wright Tillson. He died Aug. 16, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Sgt. Tillson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 412th Bomber Squadron, 95th Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA as a crew member of a B-17 (Flying Fortress) which was reported missing on a mission to Zeitz, Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.
