Phillip Eugene ‘Phil’ Tillman was born Feb. 8, 1919. He died Oct. 4, 2010 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
Sgt. Tillman served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and was wounded in both legs by enemy fire during the invasion of Iwo Jima. He was awarded the American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific Theater (3 stars), Presidential Unit Citation (1 star), American Defense ribbons and the Purple Heart.

George Augustus ‘Mick’ Tillman was born Sept. 24, 1916. He died Sept. 19, 1990 and is buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
Petty Officer Tillman served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
