Mark Royden Throntveit was born Sept. 24, 1920 to George and Martha Folken Throntveit. He died July 27, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Sgt. Throntveit served in World War II with the U.S. Army 79th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in the service of his country in Cherbourg, France.
