Kingsley, Iowa—Private C. Victor Taylor returned to Sherman, Texas after spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Taylor of Kingsley. He has three brothers in the armed forces, Private Lloyd Taylor, at the air base at St. Petersburg, Florida; Corporal Edward Taylor, Bainbridge, Georgia and Private Charles E. Taylor, the first draftee from Kingsley on March 11, 1941, who is now in New Guinea.

Lloyd LaVerne Taylor was born July 23, 1922 to Clarence Grant and Elizabeth Ann Lancaster Taylor. He died Oct. 29, 2002 and is buried in Kingsley Cemetery, Kingsley, IA.
