Seaman Fred Tarrant is home on a nine-day leave after completing his 10-week preliminary training at Great Lakes naval station. Seaman Tarrent, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tarrent, 1416 22nd street, has been assigned to an aviation mechanic’s school at the conclusion of his leave. He formerly attended Central High School.
