Raymond Calvin Swanson was born June 30, 1921 to Fred J. and Anna M. Allen Swanson. He died Sept. 8, 1998 and is buried in North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.
Raymond served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 757 M.P. Battalion and the 1339th Engineering Construction Battalion.
