Sgt. Maurice L. Swan

 

 

Maurice L. Swan was born May 3, 1919 to Lloyd R. and Donna Marie Van Dyke Swan. He died May 8, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

Sgt. Swan served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 734th Bomber Squadron, 453rd Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA when the B-24 Liberator he was aboard crashed near Hamelin, Germany. He was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
