Howard Dale Strohman was born Dec. 25, 1921 to Harry and Mary Simmington Strohman. He died Aug. 23, 1995 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Jewell, IA.
Howard served with the U.S. Navy as a coxswain on a destroyer escort in the Atlantic and also in the Pacific at the end of World War II.
