Sydney Allyn Story was born Aug. 24, 1922 to Oscar H. and Elizabeth Ione Merritt Story. He died Sept. 5, 1944 and is buried in Merritt Cemetery, Jones Co., IA.
Lt. Story served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died while in the service of his country.
