Paul Bowen Staver was born Aug. 25, 1923 to Harry M. and Nellie Farrand Staver. He died Dec. 31, 1944 and is buried in Rush Lake Cemetery, Curlew, IA.
Petty Officer Staver served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died when he was accidentally shot while on duty as a sentry at a naval base on Saipan.
