Marvin Leroy Stakey was born May 11, 1926 to Leroy and Bertha I. Slezak Stakey. He died Oct. 14, 2006 and is buried in the South Marion Cemetery, Stratford, IA.
Cpl. Stakey served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II.
