Howard C. Spielhagen was born Aug. 25, 1919 to August and Maude Walters Spielhagen. He died Nov 27, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.
Pvt. Spielhagen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 31st Signal Construction Battalion. He was KIA in the Mediterranean Sea and awarded the Purple Heart.
