Clifford Donald Smith was born July 9, 1921 to Lucas G. and Bina Klaver Smith. He died Oct. 9, 1958 and is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Clifford served with the U.S. Navy in World War II with the Construction Battalion, Norfolk, VA 44th NCG; 35th NCB.
