Harold Julian Skauge was born Feb 28, 1919 to Severin and Ida Larson Skauge. He died Aug. 24, 2010 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, IA.
Cpl. Skauge served in Wold War II with the U.S. Army 34th Infantry “Red Bull” Division in North Africa, Italy, and France. He was awarded three Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. He was also the holder of the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
