Garnet R. Silvey was born Dec. 27, 1921 to Marshall Barlow and Etta May Moore Silvey. He died Aug. 25, 2002 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Stratford, IA.
Garnet was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific.
