Lewis Victor Seamands was born Sept. 19, 1905 to Charley and Vah Roean Neely Seamands. He died Oct. 11, 1996 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Lewis was a World War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was in the 371st Fighter Squadron, 440th and 460th Base Units.
