Jerome Allan Schweitzer was born July 22, 1922 to Herman C. and Anna Jacobson Schweitzer. He died Sept. 10, 2006 in Los Angeles, CA.
Lt. Schweitzer served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and took part in the battle of Iwo Jima. He was a member of the unit which took famed Mt. Suribachi.
