William Pier Schumann was born June 17, 1921 to LuVerne and Ada Rosene Schumann. He died June 22, 1944. His body was not recoverable.
Sgt. Schumann served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. B, 236th Engineer Combat Battalion, Corps of Engineers. He was KIA in Burma and awarded the Purple Heart.
