Mitchell Duane Schroder was born Dec. 18, 1919 to William Frederick and Martha Margaret ‘Margaret’ Kuehl Schroder. He died Oct. 12, 1969 and is buried in the Galt Cemetery, Wright Co., IA.
Capt. Schroder served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a P-38 and P-39 fighter pilot stationed in England, North Africa, Sicily and Italy.
