Seaman 1/c, Robert G. Schnitker

 

 

IN UNIFORM.

Robert G. Schnitker, seaman first class, has been graduated as a honor student from the aerial gunner’s school at the naval air station in Jacksonville, Fla.  He previously completed a course at aviation radioman school at Memphis, Tenn., and will take operational training as a radioman gunner in navy aircraft, after which he will receive his air crewman’s wings.

He joined the navy in April, 1944, and received recruit training at Great Lakes.  His father is a master sergeant with the army engineers in Europe.  His mother, Mrs. Ferd Schnitker, lives at 1213 W. 28th street.
