Harold Benjamin Schenke was born June 22, 1914 to Ed B. and Anna H. Koopmann Schenke. He died Jan. 11, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Pvt. Schenke served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. C, 328th Infantry, 26th Infantry Division and was KIA in Luxembourg. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
