Bernard C. Schellhase was born Sept. 28, 1916 to Clarence and Freda Thomassen Schellhase. He died Aug. 11, 1991 and is buried in the Urbana Memorial Cemetery, Urbana, IA.
Sgt. Schellhase served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and was wounded in action.
