George Earl Sander was born Apr. 23, 1917 to Harry G. and Louise Munzke Sander. He died July 22, 1943 and is buried in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, IA.
Pvt. Sander served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. C, 25th Replenishment Battalion, 6th Replenishment Depot and died of wounds received in the service of his country in the South Pacific.
