Kenneth Oscar Sanburg was born Nov. 8, 1921 to Oscar W. and Myrtle Emma Jackson Sanburg. He died Apr. 25, 1945 and is buried in Grant Cemetery, Rome, IA. He was originally buried in Italy and later returned to the U.S.
Cpl. Sanburg served in World War II with the U.S. Army 14th Armored Division and was KIA in Milan, Italy.
