William Lee Ritter was Oct. 1, 1916 to William E. and Florence G. O’Toole Ritter. He died Jan. 24, 1999 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
Chief Petty Officer Ritter served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Headquarters, 16th Naval Diest., Cavite, Philippine Islands and became a POW from May 6, 1942 to Sept 16, 1945. He also served in Korea.
