David Lloyd Rubert was born Nov. 27, 1917 to Lloyd Edward and Pearl M. Munsell Rubert. He died Mar. 9, 1945 and is buried in Hiawatha Cemetery, Hiawatha, KS.
Lt. Rubert served in World War II with the U.S. Army 16th Field Artillery, 9th Armored Division. He was KIA in Germany.
