James Seneca Rice was born Sept. 28, 1924 to Ross V. and Mabel I. Holland Rice. He died Mar. 7, 1982 and is buried in Highland Memory Gardens, Des Moines, IA.
Lt. Rice served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 282nd Engineer Combat Battalion.
