Pfc. Robert L. Rees

 

 

NEWS of the Boys in the Service.

Pfc. Bob Rees spent several days visiting in the home of his grandmother, Mrs. E.J. Rees Sr. He left Thursday for Carroll to visit his parents. Bob is in the Marines and is stationed at Camp Lejeune, New River, North Carolina.

WAR SERVICE NEWS

Pfc. R. L. Rees, who has been spending a furlough here, was taken to the air base hospital in Sioux City Saturday evening, where he is undergoing treatment for an arm injury. Pfc. Rees is stationed at Camp Lejuene, New River, N. C.

Pfc. Robert Rees returned Monday morning to New River, North Carolina, after spending a furlough with his parents in Carroll and his grandmother, Mrs. E. J. Rees, Sr., in LeMars. Bob is in the Marines.

Robert L. Rees was born July 10, 1904 to Edward John and Sarah Alice Barrett Rees. He died Aug. 11, 1989 and is buried in Resthaven Cemetery, West Des Moines, IA.
