Gerald Clark Reed was born Feb. 17, 1925 to Glen and Alma C. Reed. He died Mar. 24, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Pvt. Reed served in World War II with the U.S. Army 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division and was KIA near Wesel, Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
