BOONE—Funeral services for Moyer O. Quick, 65, of Boone, formerly of Stratford, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Schroeder Funeral home in Boone with the Rev. Oscar Barrow officiating and with burial in Linwood Park cemetery at Boone.
Mr. Quick was killed Monday in a two-car collision five miles east of Boone on U.S. Highway 30.
Moyer O. Quick, son of Otto and Helga Olson Quick, was born at Stratford Nov. 6, 1907. He was a veteran of World War II and had served in the U.S. Navy.
He was married to Dorothy Steuerwald June 28, 1931 at Webster City.
Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Beatrice) Davis of Webster City, Mrs. Kenneth (Illa) Wiley of Boone and Mrs. Ralph (Matilda) Miller of Boone, and several nieces and nephews.
