S. Sgt. William C. Prescott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prescott, 2829 Second Street, recently was promoted from the rank of sergeant. He is a crew chief with a Thunderbolt group of the 12th air force stationed in Italy. Sgt. Prescott has served through the Egyptian-Libyan, Pantellerian, Sicilian and Italian campaigns.
