James Harold “Jim” Powers was born Apr. 22, 1921 to William H. and Minnie Matilda Kutz Powers. He died Aug. 23, 1944 and is buried in Keokuk National Cemetery and has a cenotaph in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lohrville, IA.
Lt. Powers served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/KIA/FOD.
