Louis L. Pool was born Aug. 14, 1920 to Charles and Elizabeth Fieldpouch Pool. He died Sept. 25, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Pvt. Pool served in World War II with the U.S. Army 104th Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA in France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
