Thomas Norman ‘Norman’ Peterson was born Nov. 18, 1918 to Thomas and Myra L. Brown Peterson. He died Mar. 19, 1997 and is buried in Resthaven Cemetery, West Des Moines, IA.
Lieutenant Colonel Peterson was a pilot with the 320th Bomb Group in Corsica and Southern France, serving with the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He was a pilot flying the B-26 Marauder.
