Roy Edward Paulsen, Jr. was born July 27, 1925 to Roy Edward (Sr.) and Agnes Rosalie Busch Paulsen. He died Dec. 25, 1944 in Normandy France and is buried in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, IA and memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France.
Pvt. Paulsen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. F, 262nd Infantry, 66th Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA in France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
