Warren D. Owens was born Sept. 5, 1921 to Roy D. and Anna M. Diercks Owens. He died Jan. 10, 1945 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Aurelia, IA.
Sgt. Owens served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. E, 333rd Infantry and was KIA in Les Tailles, Belgium.
