Pvt. Stanley G. Osterholt, Once Nazi Prisoner
Pvt. Stanley G. Osterholt liberated from a German prison camp April 2, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Osterholt, 1117 W. Fifth street He is stationed at Schick general hospital at Clinton, la.
Pvt. Osterholt, who recently received the combat infantryman's badge, has been awarded the purple heart for wounds suffered at the time he was reported missing in action October 4, 1944. He spent the last 23 months in the European theater.
