John Gilmore “Jack” Olson was born Sept. 4, 1923 to Gust and Edith Elizabeth Veach Olson. He died Oct. 19, 1944 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Centerville, IA.
Cpl. Olson served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and was killed in an airplane accident on a combat training flight near Deming, New Mexico.
