James Clifford Nygren was born Dec. 19, 1915 to Carl V. and Alma Belle Boone Nygren. He died May 5 1944 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Moingona, IA.
Aviation Cadet Nygren served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and was killed on a cross-country flight near Maro, Arkansas. His death was in line of duty and the cause of the accident is unknown.
