80 Kossuth Men Officially Listed As Casualties In War
FIRST RELEASE OF STATE HISTORICAL DEATH SUMMARIES
Eighty men from Kossuth county lost their lives while in the service of their country in World War II.

Neuroth, Lawrence John, Pvt.
Died in No. America, due to drowning, 8-7-43.

Lawrence John Neuroth was born Jan. 26, 1912 to Albert Bernard and Mary Theresa Neuroth. He died Aug. 7, 1943 and is buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Wesley, IA.
Pvt. Neuroth served in World War II with the U.S. Army 159th Infantry Service Company and died in the Aleutian Islands while in the service of his country.
