Sioux Cityans in War Zone
Oscar Nelson, seaman first class, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson, 1512 Goldie Avenue, is “safe” at San Francisco. He called his parents Wednesday night by long distance telephone from San Francisco to so notify them. Seaman Nelson was stationed with the navy at Pearl Harbor December 7.

Oscar Peters Nelson, seaman second class is spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson, 1512 Goldie Avenue. He has been in the navy more than two years and has seen duty in the Pacific.
