Daniel Henry Nees was born Nov. 5, 1910 to Joe and Mary Driscoll Nees. He died July 14, 1945 and is buried in Saint Michaels Catholic Cemetery, Nashua, IA.
Pvt. Nees served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died as result of drowning while in the service of his country in Burma.
