Thomas Neile Montag was born Apr. 15, 1919 to Joseph Valentine and Frances Fogarty Montag. He died Aug. 14, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery, Saint James, France.
Capt. Montag served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 395th Fighter Squadron, 368th Fighter Group and was KIA in France. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and Air Medal with 19 Oak Leaf Clusters.
