Arnold Herman Meyer was born Dec. 26, 1915 to Herman D. and Marie A. Meyer. He died Sept. 29, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Cpl. Meyer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 531st Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) Battalion and died of wounds received in action in Holland and was awarded the Purple Heart.
