Wins Army Wings
Gerald M. McCoy, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. McCoy of Milford, Iowa, recently received his wings and was commissioned a lieutenant in the army air force when he graduated from the Victorville army flying school, Victorville, California. He is a former student at Morningside College and left Sioux City for his training course January 3. He was accompanied at the time by Edward Mitchell, Sioux City, another aviation cadet chosen by the army air force.
Lieut. McCoy was married to Miss Janet Anderson, Washta, Iowa, July 25.
