Cmdr. Franklin Mason arrived in this city Friday evening from Bethesda, Md., for a short visit with relatives and friends. He will leave Saturday night for the west coast.

Franklin Allison Mason was born Mar. 17, 1900 to Harold Perry and Hattie Fenton Mason. He died Jan. 20, 1977 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
Commander Mason served with the U.S. Navy in World War II and Korea.
